Here is my exploration of paper under glass with the addition of all the materials that I love: hand tinted thinset backed glass gems, glass rods and vitreous glass tiles. Most of these papers are from magazines that my family subscribed to in my childhood and books that were read by my older brother and passed down to the younger children. Are they mosaics? Are they collage? I see them as a blend of the two and I enjoy playing around with this new form that has been on my list to try for some time. This is only the beginning!
